Picking up a Talon 4x and considering putting the fender flare kit on the front & rears. Anyone have pictures and or experience with these. Do they help much and how are they from a looks perspective. Thanks so much.
I bought the Talon X kit from Mud Busters and decided I wanted the Talon R kit. I still have the X kit if you want to buy them. I mounted them and drove it down my street and back then took them back off. Below is a picture of the Talon X kit.

I have the Mud Busters R kit on my X model. It provides more protection and is better IMO if you plan to put on bigger tires. At first I was worried about it not looking good but now am pleased that I went with the R kit. I wouldn’t have a Talon without fender flares.
Why did you go with the R kit on your X car?
I know you asked Josh but we both went with the R. I went with the R kit because it covers more than the X and lets the Talon still look mostly sporty. The R large kit looks way too wide.
The same reason @Rednick69 did. Because it protects more from mud and gravel than the standard flares. Mud Busters website states that some people use the R kit on the X for this reason.
Yes, I believe there is extra hardware too. For some reason they sent more on both kits than what was needed. I believe I have have an extra sticker.
