I have been wanting to mount a fire extinguisher on my rig, preferably on the roll cage. What have others done? Thanks guys.

The really cool ones are REALLY expensive. Who knew that if you wanted to, you could spend over $200 on one of these! I found one I think might be ok-

The nylon/Velcro ones are the cheapest for sure but I'm just not sure I trust it

This one from Tusk is only $35 through Rocky Mountain. It looks pretty stout I guess?

I actually ordered that one along with the Tusk Jack just the other day still waiting for it to come in.

Ha great minds think alike! You know I might order that jack too. I was thinking at first about carrying a hi-lift but they are kinda big and heavy, not mention if I did that then id need wd-40 on the rig too. What made you go with the tusk jack?

I bought a highlift jack and it was so heavy it would put too much weight on my tire carrier. So I decided to go with the Tusk a LOT lighter.

Yeah that should be a good setup. Funny how much thought goes into things we hope we never have to use! I think I'm going to order mine today. Where do you plan to mount everything?

Jack is going on my tire carrier, crossing my fingers that the FE will mount above my head on the side bar of the roll bar.

Yep.
Well, if you can spend 20, 30, 40+ grand on a UTV... $200 is pocket change.

Haha and the never-ending cost of new drive belts! How many drive belts would it take to pay for a $200 fire extinguisher mount...?

That's kinda what I was thinking too. I want it close in an emergency yet if it should come loose and fall off I don't want it hitting me in the face!

Well this is it. The Tusk FE mount. Not sure ill keep it here but so far I'm thinking this is a good location. It does wiggle a little bit but not horrible. If I put some strips of rubber in there it should help. All i have to do now is cut the bolts off of the band clamps. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Got my Tusk Fire Extinguisher mount in and on... Took all of 5 mins. where I've got it I put some rubber tape on the back and have it resting against the roof . Hopefully won't vibrate or rattle.
Its on the ROPS running from A to B pillar.

Nice. I wanted to put mine there too but my roll bar bag is in the way. I wanted to share my fix for the rattle. I put an e-ring clip on the top pin. This takes out the slop side to side perfectly. As a result it DOES take more effort to remove the FE from the bracket. I'm thinking in the event I need it, I'll be so amp'd up I won't notice but we'll see! There is still some back and forth play because the removable pin doesn't fit snug but this pretty well cures the wobble.

HondaSxS was tagged over the weekend in this picture from Brimstone Rec. Park! Hard to tell what it actually is, at first thought it might of been a Pioneer but being told it is a Can-am.
Came with this important warning in the description!
Reminder to always have a (or 4) fire extinguisher when you ride.!

If you look around on the RZR site it seems carrying a gas can in/over the bed of a RZR is a REAL bad idea. There has been several fires due to the cans leaking and the gas spilling on the hot exhaust. Sort of reminds you to make sure you insure your machine
