What do you guys recommend for a front winch bumper. I love the looks and functionally of the Warn, but I bet it’s not compatible with a 2022. If it is that’s the route I’ll take but what are some other options. I’d like some protection but nothing over the top. Just need a good solid mounting point for a decent winch.

I suppose I can always get a bracket and use the factory front but who likes that…I have to mod everything I own!

I’ll hang up and listen to your comments.

I have the slasher and tough country top mount bumper on my 2 rigs. I like the tough country better but both are fine. They both need some extra support IMHO. i haven't done that yet and both of mine are slightly bent. I wouldn't own anything other than a top mount bumper now. I've had and seen too many issues getting the winch to free spool in a hard to get to location, especially when it's muddy. If i had it to do over, I would buy the warn top mount.

I think the Warn bumper will fit as it bolts outside the frame. It would be an expensive gamble but based on the measurements I took for the front a-arms I think the outside of the bumper mounts is the same

Your rig was my inspiration…I had a Warn Elite Series on my Jeep years ago and loved it. Then I saw yours but it didn’t say if it would fit a 22. I’m going to call Warn to confirm.

Called Warn. They said fitment for theirs was last checked in 2019. Can't confirm it will fit a 2022.

That always irks me when a company gives you that non-answer.

Freaking find out for me! If you're not going to test it yourself, offer to send me one so I can test it out for you (and cover return shipping if it doesn't fit) so you're not giving the rest of your customers a stupid answer.

I may just get one and see…the front has changed for 2022 but I can’t see the frame changing that much. Surely it will work. Well, maybe it will work!

Yep, make a deal with them. Be their test fitting guinea pig, but make them commit to cover return shipping if it doesn’t fit.
I would think you would have to commit to providing feedback. Maybe take pictures if there are fitment issues.
They might even give you contractor pricing…

Exactly. In fact, Warn should be the ones to make that offer before you have to ask. It'll save them a lot of trouble for the next 100 inquiries, and maybe they can sell some bumpers. As it stands, no one with a '22 is a sale.

HondaSxS did that here for all of the stuff he sells in the store. In fact, he openly solicited '22 owners to test things for him, and even gave them a free one in some cases.
