P500 Gas in Oil

Hey guys,

I have a 2018 Pioneer 500 that at 1000 miles needed the top end rebuilt because it got dusted. I had that done by a reputable shop and have since put about 200 miles on it. Lately I have noticed it has been running rich and I smell gas while im riding and it also smells like gas in the oil when I checked it. Could it be something the shop did wrong or do you think there could be something else wrong with it? Thanks for any advice you could give.

In my experience all P5's run rich. Getting the occasional fuel smell isn't uncommon either. Fuel in the oil is a problem though. Like Ron said, I'd do a compression test on it.
