Bought the rig couple of weeks ago to ride it around our socal desert with my son. Haven't taken it out yet as i was waiting 14 days for the insurance to kick in. While waiting i thought changing the stock tires for something a little bigger and something more in line with the terrain the vehicle will see. Found these Parallax tires online and they caught my attention so i went for them.

Took the new 4 tires along with the factory wheel/tire setup to my local Americas Tires to have them mounted on the stock wheels.

I'll measure the rear to see if i need to add spacers. When i had the tires out i saw the rear is narrower from hub to hub.

So the question Is it ok to add spacers in the back with the factory wheels since all tires are now the same size ? (30x10x15), this is my very first SXS so i have no idea about what works in this application and i don't want to be tippy off camber :)

Tires Looks good.
Yes its ok to add spacers. But you used stock wheels with same size tires all the way around. The rear stock wheels are wider and with the correct size tire for that, unless someone put a set of stock fronts on the rear before you? you shouldn't need spacers to fix the track if you do the stock size
What many of us do is get the same size tire all the way around, but you need the same size wheel to go with it. Then depending on the wheel offset you get, you may need spacers to fix the track. If you have stock front wheels in the front and rear, you will need a 1” spacer in the back to fix the track.
Again just a heads up, alot of info up top on that as well.

So, yes you could add spacers to the rear to even out the track (if you had all same size wheels). Since you are still on stock wheels, no need.

🤔 What's with all the links to flickr? Does your phone automatically do that???

Regarding the links in flickr, i just do copy and paste straight from flickr from the BBCode and that links straight to my flickr account. Most forums typically have limits on the pic size and/or attachment size for the pics so i use flickr links to give access to a pic with bigger size. Not sure how this forum functions regarding pictures but If you click on the link you can see the pic in full HD and then you can zoom more in if you wanted. Hope is ok, if not is fine i can use the forum tools. let me know and i'll respect forum policies.

No worries, just different is all. We don't operate like most forums, if you stick around you'll find out we're probably THE FORUM for anything Honda and then some 😂. I don't think we have limits on pics, I know videos are easiest after you've uploaded them to a platform like YouTube than shared the link here. Not sure how flickr works, never been on it. Like I mentioned earlier though, read up on some of the members builds and use that search bar up on the top right corner for pretty much anything you can think of, chances are someone's already discussed it or at least thought about it.

Good luck! 👍

To JenElio, I plan plan to stick around. So far there is a lot more movement in this forum compared to the other one and i value that a lot.

I laugh cuz of the movement thing.
Like @JenElio AKA jennay said, we arent like other forums. A majority of forums are bought and owned by big corporate firms thats why you have the issues you have on those. Our Bossman refuses to let that happen and wont be bought out. Hail to capitalism👍🏻

Stock front and stock rears wheels. The front wheels are skinnier and the rears are wider. The rear stance seems to be about 1" narrower considering i have the same size tires in 30x10x15 mounted on those stock Talon 1000R wheels.

Thats explains your issue then. Either get the right tires for the rear or best bet would be to get another 2 front wheels then 1” spacers to fix the track proper or upgrade the wheels to some aftermarket same size all the way around. Still may need spacers

Sorry, I'm not from the land of fruits and veggies.

You have to wait 14 days for insurance to kick in? Why is that?
Some sort or crappola from i'd think the commies here in Cali. You must wait 14 days for the insurance to kick in even if you pay for the policy in full today. Seems something that applies only to SXS. In any case the policy on the Talon is now in full effect as of yesterday 05/06 :)

I looked today at measuring the stock tires width , for the rears, even though they're advertised as 28x11 they're literally 12" wide.
Now Keep in mind this is tire only, not mounted in the 15x8 rear wheel.
The fronts seem to be 8.5" wide.

The Parallax mounted on that rear wheel seems to measure around 9.5" wide.
and 9" mounted in the front stock wheels.

Wouldn't 1.5" rear spacers make everything the same as stock ? if anything maybe 1/4" wider overall in the rear per side?
