So, got to get out with the 1000-5 for the first time. Family went out and picked blackberries. Only added 2 miles to total 6. Ran in 2wd low. Up steep hill, down again, through some brush, and back home. Wife has enough to work up some jelly.
I continue to be pleased. I like the sound of the shifting. I think low is low for my use today and had to use paddles to up shift several times. Really got a good feel for how it will handle and what the wheel base is. Had some heat and wife commented on it. Next time out might take windshield off and see how it does. Was sure nice to block limbs today. Had a bracket come apart today. Think screw just wasn't tight. This was a great first ride and excited to get a "real" ride in next weekend.
