I am looking to outfit my 2022 520 with a rifle boot… I haven’t found any decent looking options online. Any suggestions? The Kolpin Stronghold looks interesting but not sure on 520 fit. I would like it enclosed and pretty well protected from rough trails…. Thanks!

I don't have a rifle boot, but I did notice in today's mail that Dennis Kirk has the Kolpin Stronghold(s) on sale for 15% off. Hopefully someone else can help on fit.

I have 3 Plano Gunslinger's ( 1505 ) on Pockets. One is bolted on my headache rack I built. The other 2 are held on with zip ties. Works very well.

I had a Great Day overhead rack and it worked ok for carbines but a rifle and or shotgun would stick out and caused issues with soft doors. I then made a rack for the back to hold guns upright for sporting clays. Use it for hunting as well.

I know you ask about a boot mount but if you can use something like this it's real cheap and does a get job.

I considered one of the scabbards from TrailMax (in camo), but ultimately decided on a couple of Kolpin forks as I only needed to transport short time and distance.

Yeah, made the mount out of somes scrap. Bolted it to the dash. Works great. The rubber holder was about $30 with shipping.

I mounted my Kolpin Gun Boot to a bracket that attaches to my cargo bracket.

You dont need the butt in that's on the floor. I don't use the one in the picture. Here's a closer look at the mount.

I use a couple of them to carry all our rifles on prairie dog trips. Best overall way to carry guns I've seen in all the years.
