Hay! I object to that remark! Lol.become a donor engine for 6.0 Ford
I use to love going to salvage yards. Some good gem parts you can get there. This is not a knock to Chrysler, but I got a lot of parts to that old Toresmo I had back in high school. Was fun timesI’ll agree!!

Wasn’t bashing Ford in any way, specifically talking early International P/S. Some people had luck but that definitely isn’t majority. I’m pretty sure there are more Cummins powered early Fords then the 6.0-6.4. Anyone that won the lawsuit started looking for a donor lol.Hay! I object to that remark! Lol.
I know you mean well I had to say it. all in fun.
I agree, really do like going out here. Very seldom am I getting mechanical stuff, usually just parts for some side job or a builder.I use to love going to salvage yards. I knew you weren’t I’m a ford guy and had to play defense in fun lol. to your quote, yes 03’to early 05’ 6.0’s were a problem child due to EGR and Putting the fuel pump in tank from the lift pump on the international 7.3 international didn’t want to mess with the 7.3 and make it garbage and needed a more versatile diesel that could run on rubbing alcohol amongst other things in the military field at witch they succeed at (little unknown tidbit) but in the domestic market it failed with early epa regulations and it sucked bad. Now the 6.4 that I owned was actually BA, tuned and deleted was a rocket ship with the low and high pressure turbos and were also a 3 valve motor. Early DPF (before downstream urea) again quick epa regulation gave that sleeping bad boy a bad rap till you tuned it. I had 248,000 on it before I switched to a 15’ 6.7 scorpion basically to get my 8’ bed back and some interior luxury.Wasn’t bashing Ford in any way, specifically talking early International P/S. I agree. Some awesome finds there, especially for you with your work.I agree, really do like going out here. Very seldom am I getting mechanical stuff, usually just parts for some side job or a builder.
This place makes me money so I like it. It’s amazing how lazy some people are, just bought a door for 40$ getting 550 to paint and install, but it’s clean and already the right color. I mentioned they could go out there and grab one but I guess I’m doing it. That’s a good wage for 30 min work done lol. I ain’t afraid of work
Wish he'd find a White's Half Track mounted with a quad 50 AAI agree. Some awesome finds there, especially for you with your work.
It’s crazy now out there. So many people live off these places just picking up rare or much needed stuff, and selling for profit They are out early like wolves and rummage the place for eBay or Craigslist.I agree. Some awesome finds there, especially for you with your work.
Indeed. They have place outside of Grand Rapids called “You Wrench it” you go and take the parts off and the vehicles are on nice concrete and separated in rows by make. The only thing is they monitor what you take off and are a bit high in price cuz of it. But it’s a really cool way to save time if you know what you want and get out. It’s crazy now out there.
