You in the u.p?
No, I’m in the Gaylord area 45 min south of the bridge. We’re in the highest elevation in the lower and the snow belt of the state. There calling for 3-6” of snow tomorrow night:confused: it will be gone by Tuesday. The rest of the week will be above 50. Been a crazy winter here for sure.

One of my favorite things of our cabin. The hat was put on that deer cuz of the pic of the two old guys in the lower pic and during camp it’s so true. The deer head is right above that couch lol

8 axle walking floor trailer. 128 yard capacity. Wheat midds and cottonseed are what we haul the most of. They are bulky products and take up a lot of room. Average 40 tons per load. With heavier products we can get 50 tons in the trailer.
Man ats alot of weight! So you can legally gross 70 tons?

Yup there sure has. My old man is on the right in that pic and he turns 79 next week. He’s had a stroke in the last 4 years and isn’t the best but still gets around. He hates that I don’t let him pay for things for camp. I tell him that he did that for me for years and now it’s my turn. The other guy is like my second dad. He’s a retired Army Ranger. He was a tunnel rat in Vietnam he’s a good guy. Unfortunately this last deer camp was his last. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year and he’s getting worse. Art is a great guy and will do anything for you.

Every time is a an awesome time with the old farts at camp! Just trying to understand old man speak is something in itself lol
Agreed my friend. I enjoy every minute of my elders passing down knowledge or plain old B.S. :D

Someday this world is going to really miss that and they don't realize that yet.....sad :(

So true! So true! That’s why Rocky and I try to drag there ass to camp as much as we can. It will never be the same

I do my best to pass down the knowledge and stories I have absorbed over the years to the next generation but they are "difficult learners"....
