It probably has something to do with the output capability of the USB port and continuous power.

I was wondering that... I had an issue with my tablet not charging faster than the draw. I since, bought a 4.8 amp usb.

You can easily make your own. Just use bigger stuff than I used here.

Blue seas... pricey but supposed to be dual 4.8. I also, bought a cheaper “smart” usb that adjusts for load. I really need to pull them out of the box and decide what to keep.
