I fell through the deck on mine last week. Where we lived in Lawrenceburg was almost completely tree-covered, and it really did a number on it. Going to have to reboard it very soon.

Lol.. I’ve done that before and caught my shin on the support angle underneath... damn it hurt! The floor in this one had a couple places that’s starting to get spongy around some knot holes. I wouldn’t have bothered with oiling the floor but I need to do the kids playhouse and wanted a test subject before I go to the trouble of doing it. I used Cabot Australian timber oil. Basically a mix of boiled linseed oil and a couple others with some pigment and uv inhibitors. So we'll see how it holds up.

Bench made is anti 2nd amendment. It’s the thought that counts though right?

Are you referring to when they destroyed a couple rifles for Oregon City PD? They were merely helping out their local Police Dept carry out something they had to do. I have no problem with that.
I read they've also sent donations to left leaning politicians.. What some don't know is a few of them are pro 2nd A. Besides, the amount of support ($) they sent wouldn't cover a months coffee bill for some of 'em.

I guess what I'm saying is, there are enough companies really worth boycotting due to 2nd A stuff.. Dicks Sporting Goods, REI, & many others. No need to fabricate or even attempt to connect the dots just to shame another company.

But regardless, it most definitely IS the thought that counts!

If you truly stop and think about it.. wouldn’t it be beneficial to a blade making company if the 2nd a was limited? If you can’t protect yourself with a firearm then what do you use?

I just drove through the Badlands national Park in western South Dakota. Pretty awesome but realistically it looks a lot like a lot of other places I’ve been. Plus it had a lot of tourists. I’ll have to start a whole thread for my trip most of my other better pictures are on my iPad

I try hard to make up for it. I didn’t leave the house at all Saturday and hung out with the boys all day and the wife Saturday night. I felt kind of guilty going on the fishing trip but this is typically a once or twice a year thing.

I took the boys fishing at home and they can’t get enough.

Its tough! I worked the oil fields for awhile in ND...gone anywhere from 2-5 weeks at a time. I dont miss it at all!

just gotta keep making the time you have as good as possible.
When I owned my body shop it was 15-18hrs a day including most weekends. Never saw the family and I hated it so much. Only thing I miss is the money.
