So we stopped at the farmers place to look at the tractor and my friend is interested in buying and the guy has a small safari type farm. There were emus ostrich zebra some interesting goats camels camels and knows what else.

Then driving down Bluegrass Parkway in Lexington we saw this interesting castle from a distance. I have no idea what it’s for unless it’s about horses.

Yeah that’s just the castle in Lexington.. it was shipped over from
France and actually burned once during construction. It’s now a bed and breakfast type place. Nothing to do with horses, the owner was just eccentric and obviously loaded.

4th of July Pass is a long steep climb that I’ve see lots of newer trucks blowing steam or overheated trans on. Held 57 and water temp good. Not too bad for a $3500 33yo 4cly motor home with a Pioneer in the back pulling 18mpg
