Got stuck briefly in the 1000 today trying to go up the new trail. The tire thingys that I have on there. The Tensor regulators, really don’t like slippery mud. I did manage to back doon and drove from the passengers seat so as not to flip over and managed to get her turned around and back doon the trail.

Kids had fun for Halloween. They were k9 officers. Car had lights and sirens. The local K9 officer even stopped at our house

Well... took a look at the forecast & decided I needed to drag my butt to North Idaho & get my trailer off my property before it froze solid. My little brother drove over and made the trek with me.
Windy as hell all the way north until a few miles short of Spokane, then it started to snow.
Rollin towards Rathdrum, & the temps had dropped into the mid 20's.. still snowing. Not sticking on the road as of yet though.
Get up to our place and it is as cold as a well diggers ear..
Too much of this weather, and even my 4 seasons trailer would start to freeze.. Hooked up the generator, & turned on the heat!
Then we commenced to drinking.

Low of 15 Monday night, and windy as hell. Which usually wouldn't have been any big deal. However, my generator kept quitting. When it died at 2AM, I didn't try to start it again. Left the furnace on set at 55.. batteries were at 11 volts by morning time. But the solar panels got 'em back up pretty quickly.
First order of business Tuesday morning... FIRE.
Then we took a ride over the back side of the mountain. It was fun, but the high for the day was somewhere around 25, so it was brisk.
When we got back to camp, we started loggin. Dropped 4 snags, one of the white birch's turned out to be a totally useless, and another too green. Ended up with a decent load in the pickup. Probably enough for my shop this winter.
Tuesday night, I figured out why the generator kept shutting off.. the damn low pressure oil switch. It had plenty of oil.. about halfway up the stick. I poured a tad more in, unplugged the stupid switch, and she ran like a top for 14 hours straight. The trailer stayed a balmy 65-70 degrees!
The ice on the Ford emblem, on my 4 lights, and the license plate didn't come off til we left weds. It was about .75" thick!
The Pioneer did a great job carrying the wood back to camp.
Just as we were leaving, my buddy showed up to snag the trailer & put it in storage. PERFECT TIMING!
All in all, a fun couple days. A bit nippy, but a good time.

LOL!! Buddy... it was such a quick trip, we had absolutely NO time for anything except that one ride we did. The rest of the time we were cutting wood, or putting all the s*** away in the trailer etc..
