Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving guys. Drove the Pioneer to my parents house today for dinner, and now back home drinking beer till bedtime while the wife and her best friend head out to Black Friday shop. All I need is ol' Mossy Horns to wonder by my treestand in the morning to end a great week.

Ran across this ol guy in a first gen helping a neighbor in the Toyota that took out his front end from a big rock that rolled onto the road.
Talked to the ol guy and he ain’t selling for s***. Bought new and has 200k never done s*** except for two rebuilds on the front end. Not too bad for living 30 years on a 35 mile dirt road! Never left him stranded, laughs about getting a new truck. Pretty cool. It’s a manual identical to mine except 4x4.

Toyota and the rock. Stopped and helped out. Two new tires and fixed antifreeze leak. Welcome back to the woods lol.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Out in the woods getting our friends ready for the winter. Got a deer and some wood with a couple beers. These are serious woods people, love them dearly. Our whole family up here and patiently waiting for the great food. Already have good company!

Speaking of Deboss Garage, they have done a few videos that do a great job of reading my mind. There's the ford one I've posted before, and then there is this one:

At work, I'm famous for saying that everything GM introduced in the mid 2000's was total garbage. I also might have said that The Canyon/Colorado and Trailblazer and it's various clones are like every stupid ideal GM had, put into one vehicle. It's had to believe this came from the same company that did the LS based engines (though I should note that they screwed them up in the late 2000's as well).
I have 2 trailblazers in our lot with timing chains that are shot. One has just over 100k. And at nearly 12hrs of labor, it's hard to justify fixing them. The Atlas engine family is just...junk. No way I'd buy one of these unless it had the V8.
