They invited all plankowners back for a day. Had a great time seeing old shipmates and the ship. Was awesome to be able to show my wife and daughter how I used to live.

Yep, 541 TD's now. He also broke Philip Rivers' single game completion NFL percentage record by going 29/30

So... Samsung replied to my email asking about the warranty for the two 256gb microSD cards that corrupted in my Virb. They said that they do not warranty cards used in "read/write intensive devices such as dash cams". WTF? Lo and behold it is listed right there in the product description on Amazon:

Going to fight it out with them and see where it goes. Garmin clearly lists the Virb XE as an "action cam"

Edit - I'm an idiot - I forgot I bought it on Amazon so I'll just send it back!

Tounge in check I say this, I really like all the videos that guys post and I watch most of them, but is there a better camera for on the move that's not blotchy? Keep thinking I need to clean my glasses, then they stop and the picture is good?

I would not have said anything about it being in a camera, but the corrupted files that can't be erased are very clearly marked VIRB and are video files. Amazon shipped a replacement out already

I think it's the upload or YouTube that creates the artifacts you're seeing. I noticed when uploading a video on my dad's satellite internet I had a lot artifacts versus uploading to YouTube at home on my gigabit fiber internet. I'm still new to the action cameras and actually posting to YouTube, but videos I've seen from GoPro or any other look the same on whatever I watch them on so it may just be something in the settings when you upload to YT.
