@CumminsPusher here's a nice rig for you. View attachment 174949
Almost looks like the ol Ford frames they had holes punched in them to save weight, lol. Looks like it might go way up judging by fender/door. Use that insurance check for a Ram.

The front box crossmembers rot out and the bed drops til it hits the frame. Seems to be pretty common around here on superdutys. Luckily a 4x4 slides in the gap if you catch it before the box is crushed by the weight of the stuff in it

That could explain the running board, and maybe fender gap is separate incident then.
Is rust real common there amongst newer rigs? I don’t see much here but occasionally get in Canadian trucks and they are brutal. Do see a lot of aluminum corrosion from newer stuff though.

Blah. At home sick with a 101 temp from the flu. Thought id break out an old classic with Phantasm.
Never seen any of the others but liked this clip...
Hope you get to feeling better soon! We just kept our 1 year old grandson for a week and found out why young people have children! The sound effects guy on the 71 Cuda needs to do his homework. That was a Ford starter instead of a Chrysler.

They had to use the sound effect of something NOT starting, didn't they?

The 99-08 superdutys are pretty rough around here. 99-07 half tons are either gone or very crusty. I put can corners and rockers in my 11 F150 at 100k miles in early 2019. Most of the Angry eye and later 2000s GMs popped the paint on the rear fenders and the rockers, fuel doors and cab corners 2-3 years ago.

Overall stuff rusts bad here
