Just got back from St Louis for the weekend as a birthday trip for Cora... with her birthday being so close to Christmas and all the s*** the kids get, we decided to just do a family trip and a few presents but focus more on experiences. She was all about it!! Looks like this may become a tradition of sorts.

Around here a truck load is $200 delivered. That's dry hardwood.

Yes, Everyone around here cuts firewood. Some people just give it away(split)but you have to go get it. Now the closer to Nashville you get the price starts to hit the $200 mark for a load. Most of those guys don’t even cut it, they just buy it cheap out here and take it there to sell.

I had my wood stove in my other shop for years ...love having it..just had to much going on to get the pipe up.

That's awesome. I try to take my little girl out to experience life any chance I get. All of the other kids her age that we are friends with just stare at tablets or phones all day. Only time mine ever gets to watch the tablet is on long road trips, and she doesn't get free reign of it then either.

For sure... our oldest got in some trouble and has had the tablet and all tech taken away. It’s been really good for her, particularly since all her friends are so tethered by tech. But the little one is so excited about taking the trailer camping.. she’s probably more excited than anyone. She wants to “go back to dem mountains an camp in da traylor”... we did a Yellowstone/Tetons tent camping trip the summer of 18 and she has been all about it since.
