I’ve worked on both Perfesionaly, a huge fan of either. But the Deere stuff is way easier to get parts for. It’s not that new cat doesn’t need parts too, you just have to pull teeth to get parts out of there local dealership around my parts.
Try to get some parts to repack a main boom cylinder on a 3 year old machine. The vin/pin isn’t enough for them, you have to scrape the paint off the cylinder, then they tell you the number you are reading is wrong

Since I’ve been on standby for over a month, I tackled a little landscape project I’ve wanted to do for 20 years.
The island inside our circular drive had 20 spreading junipers. They were 6.5 feet high, 17 feet wide, and about 150 linear feet..

Nice man! Those junipers are stubborn bastards, incredible amount of work was done! Looks much better

I paid to have the wall done, did the rest myself. There’s just short of 200 feet of wall.. it would have taken me a month to do that. I took out 3 crappy trees, planted 4 others, plus shrubs, spread 16k lbs of topsoil, & 17k lbs of gravel. I’ve been going pretty much non-stop since mid March haha!
