Finally got a hold of someone at the courthouse to see how much this "no permit on TWRA land" ticket would cost....

$10 fine + court costs

Here's the kicker, the court costs are $313.50!! That's wild. I think court costs on a DWI are less than that here, lol. I've about broke even since I've been 7-8 times over multiple days the past couple years and not bought the permits. I'll just buy the annual every year now.

Ok so this is a dumb question but if you buy a permit and have a copy of it in both machines that you own, is that legal or not? Both of my machines are in my name in our home state. Do I need a hunting permit for her and myself if we aren't hunting?

1 per machine, so you'd need a license for someone in the other machine as well.

They run it by your TWRA ID, so you'd need an ID for the other machines driver too.
