First time using the tent cot? I am thinking about trying one out so curious to see how you like it
I have had it for quite a few years now. Use it a few times a year. This was by far the worst weather I've used it in. All three nights were low 30s high 20s. Friday night was windy with rain, freezing rain, sleet and I stayed dry and surprisingly warm, just had to keep the sleeping bag up over my head, LOL.
Prefer it to the hammock?
Has its pros and cons. Pros are that its more weatherproof and a little more comfortable. Biggest con is it's size when transporting. Would not be a good overland option, tent or hammock are much smaller. They do have a more compact version than mine, but this one seemed more durable.

Sorry we left ya hanging yesterday. I went to bed about the time you were drinking beer. Damn puppy kept me up all night the day before.
