Dodged a bullet today. My job I had scheduled got put off till tomorrow, so I'm sitting around the house and smelled something odd. Found my space heater melting down in my bathroom wasn't even turned on. Had I been at work I highly doubt I'd have a house right now.

Damn man, holy crap! Glad you were home! I've got an old farm house with very sketchy wiring. So far, in 25 years, i have found no less than a dozen "terminations" that could have caused a catastrophic failure and likely a fire. But some how, did not.
