Day 2 morning: four jakes came to my decoy jake, no toms.

Day 2 afternoon, evening: nothing approached my 2 hen set, but observed some toms and several hens. Made plan for full decoy set next morning. Three hens, one jake, no calling.

Day 3 morning: paused on the way out to appreciate the morning sky

Four toms and several hens pitched in off to my left, and the toms eventually approached my set. Bird down!

Love it! I've only been out a few times but have always been where the birds weren't. My place is 99.5% wooded so it's hard to tell where they are until they're right on top of you. Some days they travel one trail, other days they take another. Always happens to be the trail I'm not sitting on though, lol.

Got bored, took the 2nd selfie I've ever taken in my life.

Some days they travel one trail, other days they take another. Always happens to be the trail I'm not sitting on though, lol.

I admire those that run-and-gun. I'm most certainly spoiled in my turkey hunting. Swivel chair, coffee, jerky etc.
Good thing, too; I'm way too fidgety to sit still long enough to get a shot. I'd get busted quickly every time, I'm quite sure. They say it's an amazing experience to engage them face to face though.

Oh, I'm not running and gunning s***, especially while wearing this thing. It snags EVERYTHING. I'm parked on a Millennium Tree seat. I just don't have a blind set up yet. I threw together a half-assed natural blind to shield some of my movement because I too, cannot sit still.

Millennium stuff is really nice. I splurged on their blind chair and don't regret it one damn bit! Excellent lower back support and very comfortable for long sits.
I also have their 360 ladder stand which is badass. I think it's discontinued now.
