how do you like the 17 superduty the wife and I are thinking about getting one next year. what model did you get

Love it. Don't love the payments, but the truck is nice.

XLT, 250, 6.7L Power Stroke

Options are:
603A XLT Value package
3.55 locking diff
FX4
Block heater
Camper pkg
Upfitter switches

Love it so far. Averaging 18.5 MPG empty and ~ 14 towing my trailer and the 700 I helped buy

That would likely be what you'd call combined. I commuted in it last week to help break in the motor. My commute is 150 miles round trip daily and split almost in thirds between 2 lane highway, interstate (at about 80 mph), and suburban streets.

Thank gawd I don't have to go into uptown Charlotte.

That includes one regen cycle that really eats fuel

I get 16-18 running empty and about 8 towing the Pioneer in my hemi Durango. Eats gas but looks good doing it.
What year?
Really wanted a 2nd Gen but just never happened. Really liked those (as far as driving). Sure the current one is awesome...but a bit out of my price range. Ended up with a Tahoe.............

2012 RT. 95k miles on it and the only issue was the hemi tick, but they fixed it under warranty.
