That's really cool news he's going to be pumped! Those are a cool little rig I'll bet it's got years left in it. Sounds like a beginning to the obsession:)

Yep. Its got a Speedometer, lights 4wd, reverse. And he can shift it. Seems super solid.
I remember riding a brand new one as a kid, it was a buddies. I loved it, it was so much cooler then my little Yami 80 felt huge back then lol
It'll be perfect for him cruising around the sticks and you can follow behind and light his path even better. Hopefully that makes the trip over next year!

Yeah....thats the one we talked about earlier in the thread. Later Got bored out a bit and bigger tires and called a King Quad. Really popular in my area BITD.
My 1st quad was a 2wd version of this (still have the owners manual), and i wanted one for years. Not the most powerful thing ever (though fine in its day for what it was), but they would climb a tree and pull stuff almost nothing else would because of the diff lock and super low gearing.

That one looks to be in great shape. The racks are even straight. Good score.

Its as perfect as they come. Guy who owned it was 84. It was his retirement present. Gotta clean the carb she needs a little choke to run wide open.

Notice the lack of headlights under the front rack, and the one on the bars? It detached with a extension wire and could be used like a flashlight...as long as you didn't go more than a few feet from the machine. Guess what happens to that light when you flip it? FUBAR...and if i recall, it was like $180 BACK THEN. Suzuki parts aren't cheap.

I took the bracket and found that it bolted perfectly to an aftermarket chrome fog/running light for like $20 from the local dept store. The b****es loved it. Well...my mom loved it.
