Ran into this cute little fella out riding this evening..bout 4.5 feet long and big around as my forearm...wife was having a fit when i got this close to him...i "relocated" him.

This little 5-6' fella almost scared my wife to death last year when she heard something at the door, opened it and stepped outside and he was laying across the door threshold and she stepped on him. Apparently he was tired of the summer heat too and wanted in. From top to top of the ribs on the sheet metal is 9" and if he was stretched out, he could've cleared 7 of them easily.
