In some ways yes. I’m sure I’ll pay for it later in life. Hopefully not in the memory loos that some have had. So till that time, got to live life to the fullest.

No, my father played minor league ball. I never got that far. I played for a club team. Later up until 3-1/2 yrs ago I was playing in a wood bat league that consisted of ex minor leaguers, had to be 2 yrs removed. ex college and current college players. That was one of my favorite times playing in that league 8yrs. They were still bringing it in the low 90’s. But life and age catches up to you at some point. Mostly the I don’t know the exact number of concussions I’ve had? I know 2 that have stood out, after those I think the others were miald. All from foul balls to my mask. My wife was there for the last one and that was the voice of reason...so I hung it up at 40. Took me 2 years to even watch a game it bothered me so much.

Dang , Brother we need to ride together, we can make all that go away, with enough miles!

Lookin at my shrine with all my baseball awards (balls on the shelf) always makes me want to play again. Only thing is..this old body can’t take the beating no more behind the plate. So I think I’ll just stay here and drink!
