I'll give another nod to the CBD. I have always thought it was kind of hokie when patients talked about it, but I finally saw enough high level wrestlers and MMA guys pushing it I decided to give it a shot when the company I get my vitamins/supplements from put a product out. Really impressed with it's suttle benfits for pain/inflammation and sleep. No groggy feeling either, but I notice I don't toss and turn NEAR as much with a 500mg dose before bed.
The question is, how do you source it? Not regulated (though even meds that are regulated can be sketchy sometimes). You can buy products on Amazon from $15-$100 a bottle...how much is good enough? A lot of well know vitamin companies won't touch it because it's still a gray area federally if I understand things correctly.
The company I use is Max Effort Muscle. They supply supplements for a lot of the OSU wrestling team and the guys that train at the Ohio Regional Training Center (Senior level international wrestling), so I figure they have to have some reasonably high quality/purity standards.
