When I went to the indy 500 12 years ago i was a guest of us smokeless tobacco. His sons band was flown in to play for us over a steak dinner. He was crazy good.
Sweet, I have been to the Indy 500 once - great experience and fun time. Me and to friends were given tickets to be the ones that set up the tailgate for the larger group... you had to line up at about 8:30 the night before and the gates would open for tailgate set up about 3am... there was three of us crammed into a van with nothing but coolers of beer and churches fried chicken.

Ours was a little too much. But I got to see how the other half lives. Set up in a beautiful hotel, bus with police escorts to and from the track. Sky box, skoal bandit girls waiting on you. Met AJ Foyt, toured his garage. Bfast, lunch and dinner On and on. Oh and everything was 100 free. Was a good time but the crowd in the RV section was calling my name lol.

View attachment 122086 Xmas Hills is accessible!! Currently trying to get Ang to have a few more so she doesn’t mind some Idaho pinstripes on the Lexus. Holy crap we can get in. Judging by no tracks we are first back in. Feels good to be home!

No problem. It’s cool you two hang out like you do. You have the life.;) The 80’s had some great tunes.
thats why I try to catch The original Country Gold on Saturday nights. They have it at the station up at the cabin but not down here/ they use to. We just have a classic country station. It’s good but not as good as TOCG.

I used to listen to that but since I got Sirius radio, I I’ve been listening to that. Nowadays there’s so many music outlets, it’s easy to find anything you want to listen to.

It’s not like it was back in the day when you had a couple CD binders worth of music. There’s so much to choose from now, amazing the packaging size difference now lol.
Sometimes there’s so much now that it becomes a problem and you go blowing through a ton trying to find the “right “ songs.

Or even further back before CD’s, I would sit by the radio to dub songs onto blank tapes. ;)

Yep. Had a few cassettes but most I copied. How many mixed tapes did you get from girlfriends? Loved the tapes but that was more a love/hate relationship. Nothing worse then having to pull 50000 ft of tape from your deck

Oh crap, forgot about the mixtapes from girls. Ha, brings back memories. If you were careful, you could re-spool the tape after the deck would eat it.
