Yep that sucks!!
It got even better, stud wouldn't come out. Then the s***ty new lugnut was too soft to use to seat the new studs. Then my open ended nut stripped. Took the grinder and a punch to get the stud off. Finally got both new studs in and seated about 10 minutes ago. Definitely going to be some beer in my future

It's those damn mechanics and their impacts...:rolleyes:
Tacoma's are notorious for warping the rotors, that's what I was changing since it had got to the point where it felt like I was landing an Apache when I hit the brakes. The guy I bought it from a couple years ago must have just put new pads on the warped rotors since they probably still had 1/2, if not more, life left. I'm sure they cranked them on there pretty good.

I would suggest anti-seize on all the lugs and a torque wrench.
