Hyundai has really transformed themselves.
Remember the 1st ones? Cheap, disposable boxes with Mitsubishi engines. I won't say that they were bad cars, but they certainly weren't in the league of a Toyota or something.

Now...I think they are some of the most trouble free cars you can buy. And they drive well: the wife's 2016 sonata simply eats highway miles as easy as anything I've ever driven. GM and Hyundai seem to have gone in opposite directions in the same decade, honestly.

We don't get many through the car lot simply because they hold their value too well (for us), but when we do, they need very little to be brought up.to good condition.
