Who Makes Badland Winches?

Badland Winches are manufactured in China, mostly by Ningbo Lianda Winch Co. and Ningbo Antai Winches Technology Co. They are branded as Bandland Winches by retailer Harbor Freight Tools.

I have had two badland winches and had good luck with both.Most are made in china in the us we make stickers.Jump on the snap-on truck and look around.

I’ve heard good and bad about them. I guess it depends on which one of those slant eyed bastards built it. Personally I support Warn winches. They are more money, but are a local company for me. Their customer service is great, and they actively support UTV’s. They go out and use/test their products, which is awesome.

The only reason American companies outsource manufacturing to China is because of the large load of inflation, regulation and taxes on manufacturing here in the states. There is a substantial premium to ship things halfway around the world, and the fact that it's still economical exposes how horrible the manufacturing climate is here in the "land of the free."

Nationalism is a disease that blinds one to the reality of their "homeland."
