P1000 HAS ANYONE WRAPPED THE EXHAUST AND IT HELPED.

I am thinking about wrapping the exhaust to reduce the heat coming through the floor of my pioneer 1000-5. Any thoughts?

I did on my 700, but my 1000 seemed too complicated to get to so I never did it.
Once I installed the underseat insulation I really don't think a wrap would produce an improvement worth the trouble.

My brother wrapped is header on his stock 1000 5 and the crazy thing seem quieter???
for heat reasons not so much as he was already using a bilge fan.
