Mine don't have the yellow stickers any more, HA!
I figure they won’t last long. My brother put the yellow in and I said you pay for them let people know. For a bit. HahaMine don't have the yellow stickers any more, HA!
I've had three different sets on Rooster, stock, that had great traction, just weak side walls on the front stock size tires ( busted two), EFX's the same on the front, stock size tire, and now the ITP's 9 x 14 x 30, no more busted tires, probably not a fare comparison, being the front tires are larger now, the side walls in these ITP's are tough. I run 8 PSI on all corners. Several of my friends are running the Roctanes and really like them????Mine don't have the yellow stickers any more, HA!
Yeah we ride in some rocks and I wanted 8 ply. I’ve only been out once with the Blackwaters but where I spun a bit with the stock tires, going up hill in ruts and mud. But not now. Haha. And 30 inch , holy crap. I did see a guy with a RZR, bla, haha, but he had BF Goodrich TA’s on it, I guess they would fit. I have TA’s on my Tundra. But I don’t know about my bike but who knows. My wife and I got caught in pouring rain today and besides having to reach out and squeegee the window, all good. And we had shorts and t shirts on. You need a roof and front and back windshield ‘s . It’s 90 degrees here today with high humidity and opening the front window was perfect. Your going to love it even more. HahaPlanned on a one day run of the Alpine Loop. Trailered the little mountain goat over to Silverado, as a starting point. Got caught in a freezing cold hailstorm near the top of the Engineering Pass. (from the forks) By the time I got down to Lake City I was a frozen drowned rat as I snuck up on some friends that were camping there.
They kindly fed me, dried me out, then offered a bed for the night. I folded like a cheap suit and stayed.
Next morning the weather was gorgeous and armed with a CarHart jacket as insurance, I headed up Cinnamon Pass. Another stunning display of Mountain Panarama views.
Just as I passed the summit I thought I heard thunder over the little P500 putt putt. Sure enough, I make a turn around a bend and the weather suddenly looked ominous. (awesome actually) And with barely a warning, another hail storm that filled the floorboard with 3" of ice peas. The pace of falling peas was like a machine gun. The Temps dropped instantly and the wind howled. Every inch of me was frozen within minutes, except my torso, since it was wrapped in CarHart insurance. Thank goodness because I was otherwise a popsicle!
What an awesome adventure. The little mountain goat is fantastic. I love this thing. Compared to doing this loop on motorcycles previously, I enjoyed so much more of the majestic views.
Pictures just don't do it justice. View attachment 82356View attachment 82357View attachment 82358View attachment 82359
