Heat in cab

We were getting heat in the cab from the exhaust. Installed heat wrap material on exhaust up to the muffler and installed heat and sound reducing mat under the seat and between rear seat back and engine.Problem solved and much quieter.

That's awesome. I got roasted the other day. I'll have to get this done, thanks for the pics.

I bought the materials off amazon.Dei 010131 titainium 2"x25' header wrap with crushed lava rock and csi 25070 heat and sound mat with reflective material on one side.Use stainless sip ties in exhaust wrap.Go over heat shield also.

I'm kinda enjoying the heat up here in AK. It's the middle of July, and it's only 55 degrees here, and has been raining all week. Ha! I can see how this would be a concern if I was back in AR, though. While some noise reduction would be nice, I want as much heat coming into the cab as possible this winter. This is one of the few tips I've read on this site that I'll probably ignore. Looks good, though. I applaud your ingenuity.

Exhaust wrap and insulat under the seat are the only way you are going to fix it cutting the cat will help alot to but just for now just drive faster more air flow lol cooler temps :p
