Long time lurker, first time poster.

Owned '09 Big Red for 7 years and just traded in for '17 P1000-5. Really enjoying this machine. Wow, what a difference!

As a lurker, was getting lots of great and creative ideas of customizing/upgrading the machine to fit my needs. So I decided to join in the fray here in order to take advantage of everyone's experience owning a P1000.

So far I've added a split wind shield and hard roof plus added turn signals and mirrors to make it street legal.

For now, putting miles in.

My off-road experience level is: Trail Rider
My favorite place to ride is: Trails and local county roads
