P1000 Hello!

First post, but been a forum member for a while. Enjoy reading the hacks and mods you all are doing.

I have a 2021 P1k5 dx on order for since January. Dealership stated they had one ordered with no deposit, that was due to be shipped 4/29. Placed the deposit. Shipping date changed to 5/31 and then 6/30. Checked 2 weeks ago (as the salesperson doesn't call with any updates) and was told the shipping date was still listed as 6/30, so that could (?) be good news. Now another month has passed and still no machine or any update when it might be arriving. I get there can be big delays in our current environment, but just wanted to check to see if anyone else is finding a similar circumstance and that it is not just a dealership issue.

If your dealer was being honest, you are lucky. I had been trying to purchase a P520 for about a year now. I was just recently told by a couple local dealers that any few pieces they are due to get are spoken for and were told by Honda to not bother placing any orders in the near future. Maybe it's time to shop another brand that is more available, that's what I did.
