P1000 Honda OEM wiper wiring diagram

I have purchased the OEM honda washer/wiper setup for my 2023 1000-5 trail. I do not have the OEM fuse box, but rather an aftermarket one. Wondering if the diagram referenced in this post, is still correct? I know the P/N, 0se10-hl4-a01, for the 2022+ wiper is different than previous years.

I have the male connector available. its fairly expensive as its custom.

The wiring for the wiper looks like it should be the same as what was in that link or at least the wire colors in the harness match. But the 22+ models include a washer sprayer but the wiring for the washer and the switch is where I am a little lost. The washer pump is just 2 wires but I'm guessing part of the power for that also activates the wiper when the washer is pressed on the switch which would need to be wired in with the relay?

That wiring dia. works. The washer pump is separate from this.
After all the work you will be as disapointed as I am with the oem Honda wiper, It only sweeps about 135°.

Yes I got the hardware installed and just manually jumped the wires to try things out and yes a wider sweep would be nice but it isn't horrible. I am going to try to find a relay tomorrow at the auto parts store but still unsure of how to wire the switch. The switch has 5 terminals.

As your holding it. Power in middle left and jumped to middle right. Bottom left to 86 on relay. Bottom right to washer pump

I tried that for illumination on the bench but nothing activates the light . It looks like the switch is supposed to be illuminated when on but putting it to either + or - doesn't do anything.

Actually it must not be used. I popped the switch cover plate off and no led even though the cover is meant for an led. That is dumb. If anyone has a source for a similar back-lit switch please let me know.

For reference I found a switch I'll be trying at some point, https://www.amazon.com/Washer-Wiper-Rocker-Switch-Off/dp/B0BDFH8SCN?tag=sxsweb24-20 . I wanted a square one, not a rounded corner one but this is all I can find. Maybe I can swap cover plates
