Hi all,
Anyone have experience with the pro connect system for carrying shovel, wheel whip, etc. on a P520?

I have no experience with them other than seeing the pictures. I have ideas on how to utilize the top of the bed, but have limited skills at metal working. I actually have quite a few ideas for products for the P520, but I'm stuck trying to figure out how to make prototypes for testing. Would be easy if I had access to a press and a CNC machine to design and build some cool bed accessories for the P520. Just not sure they have made enough of them to justify the R&D work.

Thanks Rob, seems most things like chainsaw etc. fit in bed ok, but wondering best path for longer items. My weed whip fits in bed but hangs over the side, I know the “connect” system has clamp like options but I have only seen pictures.

I agree. Anytime I have longer items like my pruning saw, I sure wish I had a way to secure it. That is why I have thought about doing my own mount system that could be used for lots of things.

I’ve thought the same thing. Still trying to figure how attach to the standard holes.

I’ve got a really great idea, that would turn into a whole line of products they would attach to the top of the bed rails. Just trying to figure out if I can build it myself and then take it to a machine shop

Ya I wish there was a threaded nut plate that would go in the square hole and then you bolt down any thing like angle iron flat bar or even a 2x4 and build a rack or custom mount for anything. Someone like crossroads 3d would make a killing on some 3d printed plugs for the square holes

Being a P500 owner, curious what this is. Can anyone post a photo?

It is for the standard holes in the top of the 520 bed. Honda makes attachments that lock into the standard holes. I don’t have a good picture of them, but you can see it in the picture. I would love for someone to make an attachment point that would lock in and you could add your own toll holders, etc.

Thanks, seems like some DIY opportunity. My Polaris Ace has the same type of thing, Lock and ride. Some after market stuff is offered. Maybe some coming for the P520.
