Just picked up a Honda signature accessories fabric mid panel with the vinyl window for my 1000-5 and was curious what I should use to clean the dust and dirt off the clear vinyl window that won’t scratch it up or make it cloudy?

I'd add to @Russ989 that you should rinse as much of the dirt off as possible before washing to prevent it (dirt) from becoming a grit you rub against the vinyl. I'd use a natural sponge or a microfiber towel with the soap.
I agree with the advice above. The manufacturers guidance I've seen prohibits use of glass cleaner such as Windex. Soft cloth, mild soap, and water is recommended.
i use the same mixture that i use on my windshield.a couple drops of dish soap and water in a squirt bottle.it also helps to lube up the zippers when they are caked in dirt and i want to unzip out on the trail.

To add a bit to the cleaning instructions, from one who has cleaned a few $10K glider canopies, it is always best to flush the surface with water first to wash off loose dirt and grit. Never use a dry cloth (even if it's microfiber) on a dry surface.
