I think that would fix a lot of problems. Most of the time I'm backing in to trailers or small areas. It don't need to go any faster the 5 m.p.h max.

LOL....
And with my Pioneer 700 and Rincon I said...
I need it go fast in reverse. Even did a mod to make it run 45 in reverse, but I was never brave enough to try it.

When in a mud hole you need speed to get out, 7MPH did not cut it.
If you floored it in reverse while in the mud, you actually went nowhere as it would spit and sputter off the rev limiter.
Made reverse pointless in the mud.

I'd like to be able to back up faster when plowing snow.

I thought you were older and knew better than to drive off into a big mud hole, HA! I'll have to check and see where 1st goes to 2nd now in low range.

Why do you want a low range reverse?
I like backing up slow ????????? I never run from a fight, just regroup and charge and I don't think there"s any thing wrong with the famous sucker punch, or the body slam, shin rake, fingers in the nose and bring them out through the eye sockets, I'm small!!!!!!!! HA!

Smitty, I don’t know what you did but I don’t have the option of replying to your pm. I was raised baptist. Guess I still am (kinda) but not a fan of organized religion. I would characterize myself as more spiritual than religious.

Personally I’d rather low reverse so I’d know either I’m getting out, helping someone else get out or not going anywhere quickly but know my clutches are safe.
Like I’ve said the best option would’ve been for a separate high/low selection so we’d have either option. As for now stab the throttle and hold on. Hopefully the clutch update mellows out the reverse issue a bit, I’m sure it’ll help.

It does, I have backed a few trailers, slowly and controlled, and haven’t had any slippage afterwards. (Disclaimer: I put the factory tires back on it working around the land, there’s no need for dual bead locks and 28.5” tires when it working) It was a pain to back a trailer before simply because it engaged or disengaged it was not a smooth transition and I was afraid to kill the pack. If I kill the clutches now moving a trailer within a utility SXS tow rating, Honda should be on hook for them I have the extended warranty.
