I do wish reverse was lower. I also wish the low range was lower. Like max speed of 15 mph in 6th gear low rather than 30mph. That would allow for very well controlled technical driving without slipping clutches. Even just maneuvering in tight spaces or with a load having lower gears on the low side would be much better. I'm very happy with the high side.
