I made this bed liner from horse stall mat material. I would like to use it on the tailgate also. It's quite thick.
Looking for fastener ideas to attach it securely without through bolting.
I considered rivets but they don't do well on flexible materials. Screws would work but they will eventually pull out of the plastic.

Ideas please?

I clean fish, cook and work off the tailgate so a easily cleaned flat surface is needed.

Never used the stuff before.
Seems like both surfaces would need to be flat.
Maybe use it in conjunction with hardware?
No doubt it would be better if both parts are completely flat, but you have to work with what you got .... lol. Spray the 'high parts' of tailgate that meet the rubber mat. Spray both piece and let dry until barely tacky.
