Dropped one the 3rd day of our rifle deer season while trying to fill a doe tag.
I was hunting on the ground and it made the mistake of trotting straight at me to 20 yards and stopping after it realized I was there. I already had it in the scope with the safety clicked off. It took the entire force of the 180 grain 30-06 round lengthwise with no exit hole. Knocked it right off its feet and rolled 10’ down the mountain without knowing what hit it. 😂
Thinking about re-deploying my fisher traps into coyote sets after fisher season closes next weekend.

Cannot wait for this snow storm to come rolling through. I can't tell you the last time we actually had snow during muzzleloader season here in Ohio. Used to love sitting out on snowy days.
