Just received bill for my 2022 pioneer 1000-3 which included an "internal logistics charge" of CAD$300. Anyone know what this is for?
Gotta be because of fuel prices
LETS GO BRANDON!Honda added a shipping surcharge for new units invoices after January 6th.
This is probaly what your seeing.
The $400 USD would convert to almost $500 CAD, not $300. Unless Honda is just being nice to the Canucks.Honda added a shipping surcharge for new units invoices after January 6th.

"internal logistics charge" sounds like something the dealership, not Honda, is trying to charge.
When I began looking for a Pioneer 1000-5 back in early January, I had a local dealer quote me a price. When I began questioning the various add-on charges I discovered that they had tacked on a "commodities charge". He told me it was for increased shipping and other things. It was $1700. Needless to say that ended our conversation.
I guess in your Country you say…Just heard back from Honda Canada. It means a fuel surcharge depending on where you live. Thanks for all your comments. So $1200 freight plus the $300 fuel surcharge.
