Hey guys just wandering if there is anything out there to increase the power on the 700. I’m sure I’m not the first to ask this question but I can’t find anything on it. Mines a 2016 700-4. I’ve seen tuners for 2017 and above nothing for the 16. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing will really make any difference anywhere near the investment cost.
Being a low compression motor with crap timing you are very limited.
I opened up my exhaust tip to 2" and run a 2" snorkel with a pre-filter and that's the best I will see on our 2019 P7-4.
If you want the truth don't waste your money.

What @Glock21user said. One of those bigger exhaust tips and a high flow filter will get you a touch. Aftermarket exhaust a bit more at the price of noise. You might mess with timing with a tuner and get something, since Honda typically tunes things very conservatively, but in the end, it's not gonna be worth it.

If you really need more power, cut losses and get a 1000 or another machine.

Good info. Probably going to do nothing. The machine does everything I want it to and I am easy on it but just wanted to know if any of the upgrades were really worth it. Appreciate the info.

Most say no. There is a guy that has a couple of tunes that he say will make it more responsive. He has a review from someone than thinks it gave more torque and wheel spin in mud with bigger tires. You have to have your own tuner and he charges for the tune. The 1000 guys love his tunes. He has tunes for trail and mud. It is Florida Cracker Tunes.

I had forgotten that @mygreenbronco has done some tinkering with the PowerVision on the 700...

Hopefully he's still around.

EDIT: Some good info on this one.

Well crap. I’m really wanting to make this little buggy an animal but it’s not looking good for the home team. 😆
I hear ya, we had hopes of really making decent power when we got ours as well.
But in retrospect it is the perfect tool to be used the way we need to use it.
The reliability is a huge bonus as well as the ability to pull 4 grown adults through the woods easily.
There is a deep rooted wish that Honda will at some point either give us a 5 speed and low range or at least the 5 speed with an extremely low 1st and 2nd.
But eh' it wasn't what I wanted but it is what I needed.

Your definitely right. It’s an extremely useful tool around our farm. I use it everyday. But I like to play hard also. 😂. I just wish it had a little more “play” in it lol. But I guess beggars can’t be choosers lol. I just need to stop complaining and be grateful for what I have. It could be a lot worse. I could be driving a Polaris. 😂😂😂

In all seriousness, by far the best bang for the buck power addition is upgrading to the Pioneer 1000. It's a 230% HP increase with far better ride.

I just seen where there used to be a big bore kit for the 700’s made by highlifter. Has anyone seen or heard of these before? Are they still available? Jackal I like the 1000’s but I’m not all that impressed by them. I just sold a 2021 Kawasaki Teryx 4-s that completely out done my cousins 1000-5. Night and day difference between the two. Don’t get me wrong they’re nice machines but I’m trying to go another route. There’s not a whole lot of really built up 700 trail machines out there and I’m really wanting to make this one an animal. Just to be different if you know what I mean. 😂.

It's the pilot not the machine if a P1K didn't outdo a Teryx. By all means build the baddest chihuahua in the mud park.

I believe it would be any big bore kit for the 680 rincon. Same exact engine with different gearing
