Just got back from our first ride with the new ITP Ultracross tires. Wow, what an improvement over the stockers. We chose the 27x10x12 all around. Improved ground clearance, traction and riding comfort. Eight ply radials running 10lbs in the front and 11 lbs rear. Will play with the pressure next ride. Stock rims with 2" spacers on all corners.

I have the same tires on my talon. Different size, but I have played with pressure quite a bit. The pressures really change these tires.

At 6 psi they are super conforming in the rocks, and a super squishy comfy ride. Excellent traction.

At 11 psi the still hook up and are still a little soft to ride hard. They still have good traction and a nice ride.

At 15 psi they turn way harder. You can spin them easy, and slide around corners.

Thanks for the info. Yea I was thinking around 8 lbs for the rocks. Even at 10 and 11 lbs they were great. Loose rocky grades on the trail you couldn't even tell it was an open diff in front.

Have you had these on trails? How did they do?
The last ride was a mixture of gravel road (Pics) Sand wash, Loose rocks and literal boulders. Great in Sand. We followed a stream bed for about 1.5 miles with boulders intermixed into the recipe. Next ride I'll lower the pressure a couple pounds.

I've run ITP 10s on OEM 6 and 7.5" rims on another machine in the past. Took some trial and error to get the psi where we liked it. It was way more of a slider than a P-5. Front beads well protected. 9&11 eventually was the all around psi..........

Same tires but on new wheels. Moose Racing. 7" on the front & 8" on the rear. 4x3 & 4x4 offset. Took the 2" spacers off and gave them to a good friend with a 2020 P5.

How bad will the 27x10-12 rub on stock wheels without spacers?

I don't think you would have problems with rubbing. These tires are at 26" overall on 7" & 8" wheels with 12 PSI. They run short of stated size. I did run the spacers all the time but had plenty of room lock to lock.
