Leaky Portals

Is it normal for the portals to leak a little from the drain plug once the portal blood is filled? If so, how long does that usually last? I have 2 slowly leaking (since install Saturday 5/18).

I don't have portals but oil shouldn't be leaking from a drain plug on any type of gear box. Did you put Teflon tape on the threads?

Tape is for pipe threads, I'm thinking it's a small bolt or screw with a washer. Next fluid change I'd hit it with a dab of RTV (can't do it with lube inside).

Yea looks like screw with washer or o ring

It should be a 1/2" NPT with an O-ring. Make sure you don't over fill the boxes. That's what causes most leaks. Fill to just below the fill hole. If it spills out, just let it drip out till it stops.
