I’ve hunted with the 30-06 he’s shooting in the first pic all of my life, it was my dad’s rifle that was given to me when he passed. I gave it to my son this year and decided to try a .308, it’s a sweet shooting rifle!

We’re planning on taking the handguns out for a play date soon……it’s some of our best father/son outings!

We had a decent cross section of calibers.
Everything from a S&W 500 down to a .380 PPK/S.
Lots of fun

I use to shoot all the time but when Obama got in the price of ammo has continued to climb to place that I just can't stand it. When it cost a dollar a shot or more, that takes all the fun out of it. They don't need to take your guns, just your ammo.

It’s very accurate…and holds its mark going in and out of the rifle box. That being said I think I prefer the Eotech style with the bigger sight picture. I have the cheap Holosun 510c on my personal CMMG 5.56 and my CMMG Banshee 9MM and I’m quite fond of the big window to look through. The MRO is excellent but if I got to choose I think I might prefer the other. However, I’ll take what’s issued to me for free.

I wanted one years back and I wanted the 308 Colt. It was $1800 at the time and I didn't buy one. End up taking one of my 30-30 lever actions and puting a peep site on it. Good out to about 200 yards. I just wanted something for coyotes. I got robbed years back and they got most all my high powered rifles.

Me well I suffered a bad boating accident as they say and lost mine.
