Spring is in the air when the talk of Squatch and wild chow pickin' starts coming up. That means spring bear and turkey season are about to start. And then it's only a matter of time until the snow melts enough to hit the high lake fishing spots.
A good reminder I do need to bust out the herb and veggies guide for foraging when out on the trail.

Corn squash beans mainly, then who knows? Those are my main three staple crops I tend to plant. I may experiment with some small crops of ancient grains and I’m still growing and have expanded my wild rice paddy. Last Lear I had planted just half of my ditch. This year I seeded the whole length.
