P700 Location of the Voltage regulator/ rectifier on the 700

Morning, I have a 19 700-4 and my Neighbor/buddy has an 18 700-4. He replaced his battery and its not charging, in fact the voltage goes down when its running. Was going to pull the voltage regulator and test it when I got home but cant find the location for the 700. The 500 is supposedly behind the battery box. Also anyone have the resistance values for the 700 stator or is is the standard .1-.13 ohms most atv stators are? thanks in advance.
